9-7-2023الرفيق كينوثيا ندونغو، رئيس الحزب الشيوعي الكيني، هو أحد الـ 36 من الرفاق المحتجزين حاليًا في الشرطة بشكل غير قانوني. نحن ممتنون للتضامن الوطني والدولي الساحق الذي حصلنا عليه. نطالب بشدة بإطلاق سراحهم الفوري وغير المشروط. اليوم الساعة 11:30 صباحا سنبدأ اليوم الثاني من يقظتنا في مركز الشرطة المركزي. ترمز هذه المحطة إلى تاريخ دام قرنًا من قمع الشرطة وتقف على طريق هاري ثوكو، حيث حدث القتل الوحشي لماري موثوني نيانجيرو على يد النظام الاستعماري الأبيض. نأمل ألا تستشهد الشرطة الكينية أي رفاق خلال وقفة اليوم، لأن أفعالهم لا تؤدي إلا إلى غرس الخوف الدائم في الشعب الكيني. قتل نيانجيرو لم يغذي سوى التمرد، ووحشية الشرطة اليوم لن تولد سوى المزيد من الأفراد الراديكاليين الذين يتحدون هذه الديكتاتورية. إنها بالفعل هذه الحكومة هي التي تصبح أكبر مجند للمتطرفين داخل حركتنا. في الأيام القادمة من الإضرابات العامة، ستشهد الشرطة زيادة في النضال من القاعدة الشعبية ويأس متزايد من القمة، مما يعكس حقا نهج من القاعدة إلى القمة.
Comrade Kinuthia Ndung’u, the chairperson of the Communist Party of Kenya, is one of the 36 comrades currently held in police detention unlawfully. We are grateful for the overwhelming national and international solidarity we have received. We strongly demand their immediate and unconditional release. Today, at 11:30 am, we will commence the second day of our vigil at the Central Police Station. This station symbolizes a century-long history of police repression and stands on Harry Thuku road, where the brutal murder of Mary Muthoni Nyanjiru by the white colonial regime took place. We hope that the Kenyan police will not martyr any comrades during today's vigil, as their actions only serve to instill permanent fear in the Kenyan people. Nyanjiru's murder only fueled rebellion, and today's police brutality will only breed more radical individuals who challenge this dictatorship. It is indeed this government that becomes the largest recruiter of radicals within our movement. In the upcoming days of the general strikes, the police will witness increased militancy from the grassroots and growing desperation from the top, truly reflecting a bottom-up approach.
تم إطلاق سراح الرفيق كينوثيا ندونغو والرفاق 37 الذين اعتقلوا ظلما. اليوم الساعة 11:49 صباحاً، اضطرت الشرطة لإطلاق سراحهم بكفالة مجانية، تنحني للضغط وتفضح إذلالهم. أي محاولة لمحاكمة الرفاق لن تؤدي إلا إلى المزيد من الإحراج.
Comrade Kinuthia Ndung'u and the 37 comrades, who were unjustly detained, have finally been set free. Today at 11:49 am, the police were forced to release them on a free bond, bowing to the pressure and exposing their own humiliation. Any attempt to prosecute the comrades will only result in further embarrassment.
