The undersigned human rights organizations condemn the brutal attack on our colleague, Dr. Aziz Ghali, president of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights, as well as the attack on the the General Secretary of the Democratic Nahj Party, Dr. Mustafa Brahma, while organizing a peaceful protest in front of the Ministry of the Interior in Rabat, on Monday morning, 18th July/2022, in order to protest against the illegal measures and obstacles practiced by the local authorities to prevent the holding of the Fifth Conference of the Democratic Nahj Party.

They also condemn the repression of the members of the various human rights, political, and union forces that make up the National Coordination for the Defense of the Right to organize (the formation of political, union, and social organizations), peaceful assembly, and freedom of expression.

 

The undersigned human rights organizations demand the following:

  1. Opening an independent and impartial investigation of the cases of assault, repression, and abuse suffered by the participants in the protest, and taking judicial and administrative measures against those who issued these illegal orders.
  2. Enable the Democratic Nahj Party to hold its national conference freely in accordance with the laws of Morocco and its international obligations related to the right to organize, peaceful assembly, and freedom of expression.

145 شبكة ومنظمة حقوقية تدين الاعتداء الذي تعرض له الزميل الدكتور عزيز غالي رئيس الجمعية المغربية لحقوق الإنسان

 

تدين المنظمات الحقوقية الموقعة أدناه الإعتداء الوحشي الذي تعرض له الزميل الدكتور عزيز غالي رئيس الجمعية المغربية لحقوق الإنسان وكذلك الاعتداء الذي تعرض له الرفيق الكاتب العام لحزب النهج الديمقراطي الدكتور المصطفى براهمة أثناء تنظيم وقفة احتجاجية سلمية أمام وزارة الداخلية بالرباط، صباح يوم الإثنين الموافق 18 تموز/ يوليو 2022 وذلك للاحتجاج على الاجراءات والعراقيل غير القانونية التي مارستها السلطات المحلية لمنع عقد المؤتمر الخامس لحزب النهج الديمقراطي.

كما تدين القمع الذي تعرض له أعضاء مختلف القوى الحقوقية والسياسية والنقابية المكونة للتنسيقية الوطنية للدفاع عن الحق في التنظيم (تكوين التنظيمات السياسية والنقابية والاجتماعية) والتجمع السلمي وحرية التعبير.

 

وتطالب المنظمات الحقوقية الموقعة أدناه بما يلي:

  1. فتح تحقيق مستقل ونزيه لحالات الإعتداء والقمع والتنكيل الذي تعرض له المشاركون في الوقفة الإحتجاجية واتخاذ الاجراءات القضائية والإدارية ضد الذين أصدروا هذه الأوامر المنافية للقانون.

تمكين حزب النهج الديمقراطي من عقد مؤتمره الوطني بحرية وفقاً لقوانين المغرب والتزاماته الدولية المتعلقة بالحق في التنظيم والتجمع السلمي وحرية التعبير.

 

 

ووقع على البيان كل من:
