The Declaration to observe 8 March as International Women’s Day was made at the Second International Socialist Women’s Conference through the initiative of Comrade Clara Zetkin. The Conference was held on 26–27 August 1910 in Copenhagen, in which 100 delegates from 17 countries participated. Since then, Women’s Movements across the world have been observing 8 March as World Women’s Day.
On 8 March during the First World War, working women in Russia walked out of factories and demonstrated against the war. Thousands marched raising the slogan: “We want bread and peace; we do not need a war that destroys the people.”
This year’s International Women’s Day is being observed at a time when neo-fascist, patriarchal, conservative, and misogynist forces are more aggressive than ever at the global level. In different countries, according to their concrete conditions, women are firmly standing up against all reactionary forces. As is evident in Palestine including Gaza under US imperialist-Zionist aggression and genocide, in the inter-imperialist war in Ukraine, US Imperialist attack on Venezuela or under the Sanghi-Manuvadi fascist regime in India, women and children are the most vulnerable and are subjected to the gravest forms of oppression and persecution.
At the same time, it is encouraging that in war-torn regions like Palestine and in other disturbed parts of the world—where political, economic, and cultural oppression takes many forms—women are resisting destruction and repression alongside other like-minded organisations.
In India, the world’s most populous country, women face not only the general capitalist and patriarchal oppression seen elsewhere, but also the most inhuman Manuvadi/Brahmanical caste system. The ideological foundation of the RSS—the world’s largest and longest-running fascist organisation—which controls state power and street power through its political instrument, the BJP, is the Manusmriti, a text that treats women as subhuman and hence denying basic human rights.
In addition to the general oppression faced by all Indian women, those from oppressed lower castes and Dalit communities are subjected to further discrimination, including untouchability. Reports from across the country reveal that Dalit women are the worst victims of Brahmanical caste oppression and atrocities.
Women in India continue to suffer under a caste- and religion-driven patriarchal family system, domestic violence, dowry practices, sexual violence, child marriage, and persistent gender inequality and discrimination in every sphere of social life. Though women constitute half of the population, they have no proportional representation in political power, economic resources, employment, or culture. Even those who do find work are forced into unpaid or underpaid, slave-like conditions, often as bonded labourers or in low-paid, unorganised sectors where minimum wages are absent.
The rhetoric of “women’s empowerment” and “guarantees” by those in power, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is mere "jumla" - empty rhetoric - meant to deceive women. In reality, the most anti-women forces are the Sanghi-Manuvadi fascists who perpetrate and patronise inhuman atrocities against women. Recently the most notorius Epstein file being disclosed by US Justice Department revealed that most powerful leaders / personalities of the world including Donald Trump,Bill Gates are involved in sexual exploitation of poor and orfan girls In the island of Epstein.Some of India 's most powerful persons among them. In India we see that most of the rapist ,murderer and mysoginist like Gurmeet Ram Rahim,Asharam Bapu , Kuldeep Singh Sengar are in patronage of fascist sangh pariwar .In the centenary year of the RSS, the saffron-corporate fascist campaign toward establishing a Hindu Rashtra is advancing at a madding pace. If not resisted and defeated urgently, the condition of women in India will become disastrous.
Today, as International Women’s Day is observed worldwide, neoliberal imperialism is facing an unprecedented crisis. Corporate capital, in its blind pursuit of maximum profit, intensifies the over-exploitation of labour and the plunder of nature. The burden of this assault is increasingly shifted onto families, and within the existing patriarchal social order, women are subjected to even greater exploitation and oppression. The deceptive promises and rhetoric of fascist rulers aim only to conceal the harsh realities women face and to divert attention from real issues.
In this grave situation, as a democratic and revolutionary women’s organisation, AIRWO stands for women’s liberation from all forms of oppression and exploitation. In today’s context, AIRWO is committed to women’s emancipation in accordance with the concrete conditions of India including the situation under fascism. Learning from the past and making an objective assessment of the present, AIRWO is working to organise women and raise political consciousness among them in a multinational, multilingual, multicultural, and multi-ethnic India. In this effort, AIRWO is committed to joining hands with all anti-fascist, democratic, and like-minded forces and struggling women’s organisations.
Let us observe 8 March as a Day of women’s resistance against oppression and as a Day for Women’s Liberation!

أُعلن عن اعتماد يوم 8 آذار/مارس يومًا عالميًا للمرأة في المؤتمر الاشتراكي الدولي الثاني للنساء، بمبادرة من الرفيقة كلارا تسِتكين. وقد عُقد المؤتمر في 26–27 آب/أغسطس 1910 في كوبنهاغن، وشارك فيه 100 مندوبة من 17 بلدًا. ومنذ ذلك الحين، تحيي حركات النساء في مختلف أنحاء العالم يوم 8 آذار/مارس بوصفه يوم المرأة العالمي.
في 8 آذار/مارس، وخلال الحرب العالمية الأولى، خرجت العاملات في روسيا من المصانع وتظاهرن ضد الحرب. وسار آلاف المتظاهرات رافعات الشعار: «نريد الخبز والسلام؛ لا نريد حربًا تدمّر الشعوب».
يأتي إحياء اليوم العالمي للمرأة هذا العام في وقت أصبحت فيه القوى النيـوفاشية والأبوية والمحافظة والمعادية للنساء أكثر عدوانية من أي وقت مضى على الصعيد العالمي. وفي بلدان مختلفة، ووفقًا لظروفها الملموسة، تقف النساء بحزم في مواجهة جميع القوى الرجعية. وكما يتضح في فلسطين بما فيها غزة تحت العدوان والإبادة الإمبريالية–الصهيونية المدعومة أمريكيًا، وفي الحرب بين الإمبرياليات في أوكرانيا، والهجوم الإمبريالي الأمريكي على فنزويلا، أو تحت النظام الفاشي السانغي–المانوفادي في الهند، فإن النساء والأطفال هم الأكثر هشاشة ويتعرضون لأقسى أشكال الاضطهاد والملاحقة.
وفي الوقت نفسه، يبعث على التشجيع أن النساء في المناطق المنكوبة بالحروب مثل فلسطين، وفي أجزاء أخرى مضطربة من العالم—حيث يتخذ الاضطهاد السياسي والاقتصادي والثقافي أشكالًا متعددة—يقاومن التدمير والقمع جنبًا إلى جنب مع منظمات أخرى تشاركهن التوجّه نفسه.
في الهند، أكثر بلدان العالم سكانًا، لا تواجه النساء الاضطهاد الرأسمالي والأبوي العام الموجود في أماكن أخرى فحسب، بل يواجهن أيضًا نظام الطبقات المانوفادي/البرهماني اللاإنساني. فالأساس الأيديولوجي لمنظمة RSS—أكبر وأقدم منظمة فاشية في العالم—التي تسيطر على سلطة الدولة وسلطة الشارع عبر أداتها السياسية حزب BJP، هو نص «المانوسمريتي»، وهو نص يعامل النساء بوصفهن دون البشر، وبالتالي يحرمهن من أبسط حقوق الإنسان.
وإلى جانب الاضطهاد العام الذي تعانيه جميع النساء في الهند، تتعرض النساء المنتميات إلى الطبقات الدنيا المضطهدة ومجتمعات الداليت لتمييز إضافي، بما في ذلك «النبذ الاجتماعي». وتكشف تقارير من مختلف أنحاء البلاد أن نساء الداليت هن أكثر ضحايا اضطهاد النظام الطبقي البرهماني والفظائع المرتكبة بحقهن.
تواصل النساء في الهند المعاناة تحت نظام أسري أبوي تحكمه الطبقة والدين، ومن العنف المنزلي، وممارسات المهر، والعنف الجنسي، وزواج القاصرات، واستمرار عدم المساواة والتمييز القائمين على النوع الاجتماعي في كل مجالات الحياة الاجتماعية. وعلى الرغم من أن النساء يشكّلن نصف السكان، فإنهن لا يحظين بتمثيل متناسب في السلطة السياسية أو الموارد الاقتصادية أو فرص العمل أو الثقافة. وحتى اللواتي يجدن عملًا يُدفعن إلى ظروف عمل غير مدفوعة الأجر أو منخفضة الأجر، شبيهة بالعبودية، وغالبًا كعاملات بعقود قسرية أو في قطاعات غير منظمة منخفضة الأجور حيث لا حدّ أدنى للأجور.
إن خطاب «تمكين المرأة» و«الضمانات» الذي يروّجه أصحاب السلطة، بمن فيهم رئيس الوزراء ناريندرا مودي، ليس سوى «جوملا»—كلامًا فارغًا—يهدف إلى خداع النساء. ففي الواقع، فإن أكثر القوى عداءً للنساء هي الفاشيون السانغيون–المانوفاديون الذين يرتكبون ويرعون فظائع لا إنسانية ضد النساء. ومؤخرًا كشفت ملفات إبستين سيئة الصيت، التي أعلنت عنها وزارة العدل الأمريكية، تورّط أقوى القادة/الشخصيات في العالم—بمن فيهم دونالد ترامب وبيل غيتس—في الاستغلال الجنسي لفتيات فقيرات ويتيمات في جزيرة إبستين، ومن بينهم بعض أقوى الشخصيات في الهند. وفي الهند نرى أن العديد من المغتصبين والقتلة وكارهي النساء، مثل غورميت رام رحيم، وأشارام بابو، وكولديب سينغ سينغار، يتمتعون برعاية الفاشية السانغ باريفار. وفي عام الذكرى المئوية لتأسيس RSS، تتقدم الحملة الفاشية الزعفرانية–الشركاتية الرامية إلى إقامة «هندو راشترا» بوتيرة محمومة. وإذا لم تُقاوَم وتُهزَم على وجه السرعة، فإن أوضاع النساء في الهند ستصبح كارثية.
واليوم، بينما يُحتفل باليوم العالمي للمرأة في جميع أنحاء العالم، تواجه الإمبريالية النيوليبرالية أزمة غير مسبوقة. فالرأسمال الاحتكاري، في سعيه الأعمى لتحقيق أقصى ربح، يُكثّف الاستغلال المفرط للعمل ونهب الطبيعة. ويجري تحميل عبء هذا الهجوم على العائلات بشكل متزايد، وفي ظل النظام الاجتماعي الأبوي القائم تتعرض النساء لمزيد من الاستغلال والاضطهاد. إن الوعود والخطابات الخادعة للحكام الفاشيين لا تهدف إلا إلى إخفاء الحقائق القاسية التي تواجهها النساء وصرف الانتباه عن القضايا الحقيقية.
في هذا الوضع الخطير، وبوصفها منظمة نسوية ديمقراطية وثورية، تقف AIRWO مع تحرّر المرأة من جميع أشكال الاضطهاد والاستغلال. وفي السياق الراهن، تلتزم AIRWO بتحرّر المرأة وفق الظروف الملموسة للهند، بما في ذلك الوضع في ظل الفاشية. ومن خلال التعلم من الماضي وإجراء تقييم موضوعي للحاضر، تعمل AIRWO على تنظيم النساء ورفع وعيهن السياسي في هند متعددة القوميات واللغات والثقافات والأعراق. وفي هذا الجهد، تلتزم AIRWO بمدّ اليد إلى جميع القوى المناهضة للفاشية والديمقراطية والمتقاربة معها، وإلى منظمات النساء المناضلات.
فلنحيِ يوم 8 آذار/مارس يومًا لمقاومة النساء ضد الاضطهاد، ويومًا لتحرّر المرأة!
قاوموا واهزموا القوى الفاشية السانغية–المانوفادية التي تغذّي النظام الأبوي!
افضحوا الأيديولوجيا الهندوتفية المانوفادية/البرهمانية التي تشكّل أساس منظمة RSS!
