CPS CONDEMNS THE IMPERIALIST AGGRESSION BY THE UNITED STATES AND ISRAEL AGAINST THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN
MANZINI, 02 MARCH 2026:- The Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) express its unwavering revolutionary solidarity with the people of Iran and condemn in the strongest possible terms the unprovoked and illegal military aggression carried out by the United States and Israel against the sovereign nation of Iran. This act of war, marked by direct US bombing of Iranian territory and Israeli strikes on nuclear facilities, is a blatant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the fundamental right of all nations to self-determination.
Once again, history repeats itself: the first time as tragedy, the second as farce. The imperialist powers, led by Washington and Tel Aviv, are attempting to redraw the map of West Asia to serve their hegemonic interests, just as they have done for over a century. The CPS stands firmly on the side of the Iranian people and all nations resisting the yoke of imperialism.
The Historical Roots of Imperialist Aggression in Iran
To understand the current aggression, one must understand the long and bloody history of Western imperialism in Iran. This is not a conflict about nuclear weapons or regional stability, as the propaganda machines of the West would have us believe. It is a conflict about control, resources, and the suppression of any nation that dares to chart an independent path free from the dictates of Washington and London.
The driving factor behind today's crisis is the same as it was over seventy years ago: the imperialist lust for Iran's vast resources and its strategic position. In 1953, the CIA and MI6 orchestrated a cowardly coup d'état against the democratically elected Prime Minister of Iran, Mohammad Mossadegh His crime was not the pursuit of weapons of mass destruction, but the nationalisation of Iran's oil industry, which had been plundered for decades by the British-owned Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (now BP). Operation Ajax, as it was cynically named, destroyed Iranian democracy and reinstalled the brutal dictatorship of the Shah (a monarch), Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, a puppet who guaranteed Western oil companies their exorbitant profits. This is the foundational crime of the United States and its allies in Iran, a crime that has poisoned relations ever since. For every subsequent claim of promoting democracy in the region, the ghost of Mossadegh stands as a reminder that the West’s only democracy is for the corporations and the imperial elite.
The 1979 Islamic Revolution was a direct response to this subjugation. The Iranian people rose up and overthrew the Shah, reclaiming their sovereignty. From that moment on, the United States has waged a relentless, multi-dimensional war against the Islamic Republic. This war has taken many forms: the hostage-taking of diplomats was met with devastating and unlawful sanctions; the eight-year-long war imposed by Saddam Hussein, in which the US actively tilted the balance in favour of Iraq and provided the Iraqi dictator with chemical weapons and satellite intelligence used to gas Iranian soldiers and civilians. As one analysis correctly notes, what began in 1979 as a policy of "containment" evolved into a "hybrid campaign of sanctions, covert action, proxy warfare, and intermittent military pressure, to force regime change".
The recent aggression, which includes direct US bombing of Iranian soil using B-2 stealth bombers, is simply the latest and most dangerous escalation of this forty-year campaign of terror. The allegations that Iran is a threat to peace are a grotesque lie, told by a regime (Israel) that possesses an undeclared nuclear arsenal, refuses to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and is currently engaged in the genocidal bombardment of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The Israeli Prime Minister, a man indicted for corruption, cynically speaks of bringing "freedom" to the Iranian people, even as his own government maintains one of the most brutal occupations in modern history. This is the height of imperialist hypocrisy. As we have previously stated in other contexts, "these brutal acts... constitute a clear assault on the sovereignty and dignity" of a nation.
Self-Determination and the Rise of the Multipolar World
The attack on Iran is not just an attack on one country; it is an attack on the very principle of national self-determination. It is a message from the unipolar powers that no nation has the right to true sovereignty if it conflicts with the strategic interests of the United States and its junior partner, Israel.
The Communist Party of Swaziland views this conflict through the lens of the global struggle against imperialism and for the creation of a just, multipolar world. For decades, the so-called "rules-based order" promoted by the West has been nothing more than a smokescreen for US dominance. This order, established after the Cold War, was designed to cement US political, military, and economic control of the world. It is an order based on "might makes right," where international law is respected only when it is convenient for the powerful.
The Iranian nation, through its resistance, is demonstrating that this unipolar moment is coming to an end. The Islamic Republic is a key node in the emerging multipolar system, alongside the People's Republic of China, Russia, and other nations of the Global South. Organisations like the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and BRICS, of which Iran is now a member, represent a new model of international relations. These blocs are built on principles fundamentally different from those of the Western order: sovereign equality, non-interference in internal affairs, mutual respect, and the right of each nation to its own path of development.
The US and Israeli attack on Iran is, therefore, an attack on the emerging multipolar world. It is an attempt by the declining hegemon to arrest the inevitable shift in the global balance of power. They seek to smash one of the pillars of this new order before it can fully solidify. The CPS declares with confidence that this attempt will fail.
The multipolar world offers the only hope for small nations like Swaziland. For too long, we have been the victims of a system where our sovereignty is trampled upon, where our resources are stolen, and where dictators like King Mswati III are propped up by Western powers precisely because they serve imperialist interests. As we have noted before, Swaziland remains the only country in Africa to maintain diplomatic relations with the Taiwan region of China, a direct result of US pressure and a violation of international law. The arms that the US sends to Taiwan inevitably embolden the repression we face at home. The enemy of the Iranian people is the same as the enemy of the Swazi people: imperialism.
Conclusion and Call to Action
The Communist Party of Swaziland rejects the lies of the Western media, which attempt to portray this war as a necessary action to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. We see it for what it is: a desperate act of a decaying empire, the "Big Daddy" America, doing the bidding of its uncontrollable proxy, Israel, in a futile attempt to maintain its slipping grip on the world. We recall the words of Khamenei, "This nation will never surrender," and we see in that defiance the spirit of all oppressed peoples, from Tehran to Manzini.
Therefore, the CPS calls upon all progressive, democratic, and anti-imperialist forces across the globe to stand in firm solidarity with the people of Iran. We demand:
1. An immediate and unconditional cessation of all US and Israeli military aggression against Iran.
2. The lifting of all illegal and inhumane sanctions imposed on the Iranian people, which constitute economic warfare and a crime against humanity.
3. Respect for the sovereign right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to determine its own future, free from foreign interference and threats of regime change by external barbaric interests.
4. A recognition that the path to peace and stability in West Asia lies not in the dominance of one power but in a multipolar framework of mutual respect and cooperation among all nations of the region.
The CPS calls on the international community to reject the false narrative of "American exceptionalism" and to embrace the construction of a genuine multipolar order. An order where the sovereignty of a small nation in Southern Africa is as inviolable as that of a major power in Asia. An order where resources are used for the benefit of the people, not for the profits of imperial monopolies. An order where Swaziland can finally be free.
The struggle of the Iranian people is our struggle. Their victory will be our victory.
Long live the resistance of the Iranian people!

الحزب الشيوعي في سوازيلاند (CPS) يدين العدوان الإمبريالي للولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل ضد الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية

يُعبّر الحزب الشيوعي في سوازيلاند (CPS) عن تضامنه الثوري الراسخ وغير المشروط مع الشعب الإيراني، ويدين بأشد العبارات العدوانَ العسكري غير المبرر وغير القانوني الذي شنّته الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل ضد الدولة ذات السيادة، إيران. إن هذا العمل الحربي، الذي تميّز بقصف أمريكي مباشر للأراضي الإيرانية وضربات إسرائيلية استهدفت منشآت نووية، يُعدّ انتهاكًا صارخًا للقانون الدولي، ولميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وللحقّ الأساسي لجميع الشعوب في تقرير مصيرها.
مرة أخرى، يعيد التاريخ نفسه: المرة الأولى كمأساة، والمرة الثانية كمهزلة. فالقوى الإمبريالية، بقيادة واشنطن وتل أبيب، تحاول إعادة رسم خريطة غرب آسيا لخدمة مصالحها الهيمنية، كما فعلت على مدى أكثر من قرن. ويقف الحزب الشيوعي في سوازيلاند بثبات إلى جانب الشعب الإيراني وجميع الأمم التي تقاوم نير الإمبريالية.
الجذور التاريخية للعدوان الإمبريالي على إيران
لفهم العدوان الحالي، لا بد من فهم التاريخ الطويل والدموي للإمبريالية الغربية في إيران. فليس هذا صراعًا حول الأسلحة النووية أو الاستقرار الإقليمي كما تروّج له آلات الدعاية الغربية، بل هو صراع على السيطرة والموارد وقمع أي دولة تجرؤ على سلوك طريق مستقل بعيدًا عن إملاءات واشنطن ولندن.
إن العامل المحرّك للأزمة الراهنة هو نفسه قبل أكثر من سبعين عامًا: شهوة الإمبريالية لموارد إيران الهائلة وموقعها الاستراتيجي. ففي عام 1953، دبّرت وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأمريكية (CIA) وجهاز الاستخبارات البريطاني (MI6) انقلابًا دنيئًا ضد رئيس وزراء إيران المنتخب ديمقراطيًا، محمد مصدّق. ولم تكن “جريمته” السعي لامتلاك أسلحة دمار شامل، بل تأميم صناعة النفط الإيرانية التي كانت منهوبة لعقود من قبل شركة النفط الأنجلو-إيرانية المملوكة لبريطانيا (التي أصبحت لاحقًا BP). وقد دمّرت عملية “أجاكس” — كما سُمّيت ساخرًا — الديمقراطية الإيرانية، وأعادت تنصيب الديكتاتورية الوحشية للشاه (الملك) محمد رضا بهلوي، دميةً ضمنت لشركات النفط الغربية أرباحًا فاحشة. وهذه هي الجريمة التأسيسية للولايات المتحدة وحلفائها في إيران، جريمة سمّمت العلاقات منذ ذلك الحين. ولكل ادّعاء لاحق بالترويج للديمقراطية في المنطقة، يقف شبح مصدّق تذكيرًا بأن ديمقراطية الغرب ليست إلا للشركات والنخب الإمبريالية.
كانت الثورة الإسلامية عام 1979 ردًا مباشرًا على هذا الإخضاع. فقد نهض الشعب الإيراني وأطاح بالشاه مستعيدًا سيادته. ومنذ ذلك الحين، شنّت الولايات المتحدة حربًا لا هوادة فيها ومتعددة الأبعاد ضد الجمهورية الإسلامية. واتخذت هذه الحرب أشكالًا عديدة: فاحتجاز الدبلوماسيين قوبل بعقوبات مدمّرة وغير قانونية؛ والحرب المفروضة لثماني سنوات من قبل صدام حسين، حيث رجّحت الولايات المتحدة كفة العراق وقدّمت للديكتاتور العراقي أسلحة كيميائية ومعلومات استخباراتية عبر الأقمار الصناعية استُخدمت لقصف الجنود والمدنيين الإيرانيين بالغازات السامة. وكما يذكر أحد التحليلات بدقة، فإن ما بدأ عام 1979 كسياسة “احتواء” تطوّر إلى “حملة هجينة من العقوبات والعمليات السرية وحروب الوكالة والضغط العسكري المتقطّع لفرض تغيير النظام”.
إن العدوان الأخير، الذي شمل قصفًا أمريكيًا مباشرًا للأراضي الإيرانية باستخدام قاذفات الشبح من طراز B-2، ليس سوى أحدث وأخطر تصعيد في حملة الإرهاب المستمرة منذ أربعين عامًا. والادعاءات بأن إيران تشكّل تهديدًا للسلام هي كذبة فاضحة، يروّج لها نظام (إسرائيل) يمتلك ترسانة نووية غير معلنة، ويرفض التوقيع على معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية، ويخوض حاليًا قصفًا إباديًا ضد الشعب الفلسطيني في غزة.
ويتحدث رئيس وزراء إسرائيل — وهو رجل متّهم بالفساد — بسخرية عن جلب “الحرية” للشعب الإيراني، بينما تحافظ حكومته على واحد من أكثر أنظمة الاحتلال وحشية في التاريخ الحديث. إن هذا هو قمة النفاق الإمبريالي. وكما صرّحنا سابقًا في سياقات أخرى، فإن “هذه الأعمال الوحشية… تشكّل اعتداءً واضحًا على سيادة وكرامة” أمةٍ بأكملها.
تقرير المصير وبروز العالم المتعدد الأقطاب
إن الهجوم على إيران ليس هجومًا على بلد واحد فحسب؛ بل هو اعتداء على مبدأ تقرير المصير الوطني ذاته. وهو رسالة من قوى الأحادية القطبية مفادها أن لا دولة لها الحق في سيادة حقيقية إذا تعارضت مع المصالح الاستراتيجية للولايات المتحدة وشريكها الأصغر، إسرائيل.
ينظر الحزب الشيوعي في سوازيلاند إلى هذا الصراع من منظور النضال العالمي ضد الإمبريالية ومن أجل بناء عالم عادل متعدد الأقطاب. فعلى مدى عقود، لم يكن ما يُسمّى “النظام القائم على القواعد” الذي يروّج له الغرب سوى ستار دخان للهيمنة الأمريكية. وقد أُنشئ هذا النظام بعد الحرب الباردة لتكريس السيطرة السياسية والعسكرية والاقتصادية للولايات المتحدة على العالم. إنه نظام يقوم على مبدأ “القوة تصنع الحق”، حيث يُحترم القانون الدولي فقط عندما يخدم مصالح الأقوياء.
وتُظهر الأمة الإيرانية، من خلال مقاومتها، أن لحظة الأحادية القطبية توشك على نهايتها. فالجمهورية الإسلامية تشكّل عقدة أساسية في النظام المتعدد الأقطاب الناشئ، إلى جانب جمهورية الصين الشعبية وروسيا ودول أخرى من الجنوب العالمي. وتمثّل منظمات مثل منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون (SCO) ومجموعة بريكس، التي أصبحت إيران عضوًا فيها، نموذجًا جديدًا للعلاقات الدولية، قائمًا على مبادئ تختلف جذريًا عن النظام الغربي: المساواة السيادية، وعدم التدخل في الشؤون الداخلية، والاحترام المتبادل، وحق كل أمة في اختيار مسارها التنموي.
وعليه، فإن الهجوم الأمريكي-الإسرائيلي على إيران هو هجوم على العالم المتعدد الأقطاب الناشئ نفسه، ومحاولة من الهيمنة المتراجعة لوقف التحول الحتمي في ميزان القوى العالمي. إنهم يسعون إلى تحطيم أحد أعمدة هذا النظام الجديد قبل أن يترسّخ بالكامل. ويعلن الحزب الشيوعي في سوازيلاند بثقة أن هذه المحاولة ستفشل.
إن العالم المتعدد الأقطاب يقدّم الأمل الوحيد للدول الصغيرة مثل سوازيلاند. فقد كنّا لفترة طويلة ضحايا نظام تُنتهك فيه سيادتنا، وتُنهب مواردنا، وتُدعَم فيه ديكتاتوريات مثل نظام الملك مسواتي الثالث من قبل القوى الغربية تحديدًا لأنها تخدم المصالح الإمبريالية. وكما أشرنا سابقًا، تظل سوازيلاند الدولة الوحيدة في إفريقيا التي تحتفظ بعلاقات دبلوماسية مع إقليم تايوان الصيني، وهو نتيجة مباشرة للضغط الأمريكي وانتهاك للقانون الدولي. إن الأسلحة التي ترسلها الولايات المتحدة إلى تايوان تُشجّع حتمًا القمع الذي نواجهه في الداخل. إن عدوّ الشعب الإيراني هو نفسه عدوّ الشعب السوازي: الإمبريالية.
الخاتمة ونداء للتحرك
يرفض الحزب الشيوعي في سوازيلاند أكاذيب الإعلام الغربي التي تحاول تصوير هذه الحرب كإجراء ضروري لمنع إيران من امتلاك سلاح نووي. نحن نراها على حقيقتها: فعلًا يائسًا لإمبراطورية متداعية، “أمريكا الأب الكبير”، تنفّذ أجندة وكيلها الخارج عن السيطرة، إسرائيل، في محاولة عقيمة للحفاظ على قبضتها المتفلتة على العالم. ونستحضر كلمات خامنئي: “هذه الأمة لن تستسلم أبدًا”، ونرى في هذا التحدّي روح جميع الشعوب المضطهدة، من طهران إلى مانزيني.
وعليه، يدعو الحزب الشيوعي في سوازيلاند جميع القوى التقدمية والديمقراطية والمعادية للإمبريالية حول العالم إلى الوقوف في تضامن ثابت مع الشعب الإيراني. ونطالب بـ:
الوقف الفوري وغير المشروط لجميع أشكال العدوان العسكري الأمريكي والإسرائيلي ضد إيران.
رفع جميع العقوبات غير القانونية واللاإنسانية المفروضة على الشعب الإيراني، والتي تشكّل حربًا اقتصادية وجريمة ضد الإنسانية.
احترام الحق السيادي للجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية في تقرير مستقبلها بنفسها، دون تدخل أجنبي أو تهديدات بتغيير النظام من قبل مصالح بربرية خارجية.
الإقرار بأن طريق السلام والاستقرار في غرب آسيا لا يكمن في هيمنة قوة واحدة، بل في إطار متعدد الأقطاب قائم على الاحترام المتبادل والتعاون بين جميع دول المنطقة.
كما يدعو الحزب الشيوعي في سوازيلاند المجتمع الدولي إلى رفض السردية الزائفة لـ“الاستثنائية الأمريكية”، واعتناق بناء نظام عالمي متعدد الأقطاب حقيقي؛ نظام تكون فيه سيادة دولة صغيرة في جنوب إفريقيا مصونة بقدر سيادة قوة كبرى في آسيا؛ نظام تُستخدم فيه الموارد لصالح الشعوب لا لأرباح الاحتكارات الإمبريالية؛ نظام تستطيع فيه سوازيلاند أن تكون حرة أخيرًا.
إن نضال الشعب الإيراني هو نضالنا. وانتصاره سيكون انتصارنا.
