توصلت برسالة من الصديقة Lina Mezzi ابنة صديقين عزيزين لعمر و لنا.
هذه الرسالة تعبر فيها لينا التي تعرف عمر منذ كانت طفلة والتي لا زالت تحتفظ له بذكريات جميلة ومرحة.
تصف فيها ما طال عمر من ظلم وقهر ولازال يطوله.
إنها تعبر بطريقتها عما يحس به الإنسان المظلوم المقهور، وكيف يهفو إلى الحرية والإنصاف.
تكتب لنا Lina ما تحس به باللغة الانجليزية التي ترتاح في التعبير بواسطتها ومن خلالها.
إليكم رسالة إلى عمر من الصديقة لينا لليوم 116من الحكم الجائر ولليوم 472من الإعتقال التعسفي :
I was trapped inside the tiny cage like a pathetic bird
Cut off from the entire world, alone and by myself
My only friend was my shadow. My shadow was silent, it never spoke
My wings were pinned, I could not move
My lungs were out of fresh air, the joy of life, the people, the laughter, I was suffocating
I had had enough, I could not take it anymore
Then one day after decades of fighting the cage finally cracked open
I spread my wings and they danced in joy
I breathed in the air of freedom and my inner voice said on repeat : I can fly I can fly !
Happiness filled my heart and mind
The long lost feeling returned to me
I remembered how good it feels to be free.
