A joint delegation of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) and the Al India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) visited Jantar Mantar today to express solidarity with the ongoing student-youth movement demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and accountability for the complete failure of the education system. The delegation met Ashutosh Ranka and Sourav Das of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and Aishe Ghosh and Subhash Jhakar of the Students' Federation of India (SFI) and spent time at Kranti Corner of the SFI, which has been rebuilt after the police dismantled it on 20 July.
Elamaram Kareem, Tapan Sen, AR Sindhu, KN Umesh, and Sai Babu from the CITU and Hannan Mollah and P Krishnaprasad from the AIKS were part of the delegation. The leaders expressed their support and solidarity with the ongoing struggle and assured that workers and peasants, who are already on the streets in solidarity actions, will extend all support to the students in their future actions. The leaders announced that CITU, AIKS, AIAWU, AIDWA and DYFI will join the students on the night of 24 July for "Creating Jantar Mantar" throughout the country at the call of the SFI.

قام وفدٌ مشترك من مركز نقابات العمال الهندية (CITU) واتحاد عموم الفلاحين الهنود (AIKS) بزيارة جانتار مانتار اليوم للتعبير عن تضامنه مع الحركة الطلابية والشبابية المتواصلة، التي تطالب باستقالة وزير التعليم الاتحادي دارمندرا برادان ومحاسبته على الفشل الكامل لمنظومة التعليم.
والتقى الوفد بكلٍّ من أشوتوش رانكا وسوراف داس من حزب شعب الصرصور (CJP)، وبـآيشي غوش وسوبهاش جاكار من اتحاد طلبة الهند (SFI)، كما أمضى وقتًا في ركن الثورة (Kranti Corner) التابع لاتحاد طلبة الهند، والذي أُعيد بناؤه بعد أن قامت الشرطة بتفكيكه في 20 يوليو.
وضم الوفد من مركز نقابات العمال الهندية (CITU) كلًّا من: إيلامارام كريم، تابان سين، إيه آر سيندهو، كيه إن أوميش، وساي بابو، ومن اتحاد عموم الفلاحين الهنود (AIKS) كلًّا من: حنان ملاّح وبي كريشنابراساد.
وأكد قادة الوفد دعمهم الكامل وتضامنهم مع النضال الجاري، وشددوا على أن العمال والفلاحين، الذين ينظمون بالفعل فعاليات تضامنية في الشوارع، سيواصلون تقديم كل أشكال الدعم للطلبة في تحركاتهم المقبلة.
كما أعلن القادة أن مركز نقابات العمال الهندية (CITU) واتحاد عموم الفلاحين الهنود (AIKS) واتحاد عموم عمال الزراعة في الهند (AIAWU) واتحاد النساء الديمقراطيات في عموم الهند (AIDWA) واتحاد الشباب الديمقراطي في الهند (DYFI) سينضمون إلى الطلبة مساء 24 يوليو في الفعالية المعنونة «صناعة جانتار مانتار»، التي ستُنظم في مختلف أنحاء البلاد استجابةً لدعوة اتحاد طلبة الهند (SFI).
