لقاء بين قيادات يسارية ومعارضة هندية للدفاع عن الديمقراطية والقيم الدستورية*الحزب الشيوعي الهندي (الماركسي)
Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI(M) General Secretary M A Baby visited Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence in Lodhi Road, New Delhi, and discussed about the Enforcement Directorate's illegal actions targeting CPI(M) Polit Bureau member, former Chief Minister and present Leader of Opposition in Keralam Pinarayi Vijayan and the developments following the publication of the Indian Express report exposing the authoritarian manner in which the Chief Election Commissioner is functioning. Comrade M A Baby highlighted the extraordinary situation in which the credibility of the Election Commission and Indian democracy is at stake and expressed the urgent need for coordinated action to defend constitutional values and citizens' right to vote. He also invited Arvind Kejriwal to attend protest meetings being organized by the Left Democratic Front in Keralam against the misuse of central investigative agencies and the attempt to undermine our federal republic.

زار الأمين العام للحزب الشيوعي الهندي (الماركسي)، إم. إيه. بيبي، المنسق الوطني لحزب «آم آدمي» ورئيس وزراء دلهي السابق، أرفيند كيجريوال، في مقر إقامته بمنطقة لودي رود في نيودلهي، وناقشا الإجراءات غير القانونية التي تتخذها مديرية التنفيذ وتستهدف عضو المكتب السياسي للحزب الشيوعي الهندي (الماركسي)، ورئيس الوزراء السابق وزعيم المعارضة الحالي في ولاية كيرالا، بينارايي فيجايان، إضافةً إلى التطورات التي أعقبت نشر تقرير صحيفة «إنديان إكسبريس» الذي كشف الأسلوب السلطوي الذي يتبعه رئيس مفوضي الانتخابات في أداء مهامه.
وأكد الرفيق إم. إيه. بيبي أن البلاد تمر بظرف استثنائي أصبحت فيه مصداقية لجنة الانتخابات والديمقراطية الهندية على المحك، وشدد على الحاجة الملحّة إلى تحرك منسق للدفاع عن القيم الدستورية وحق المواطنين في التصويت.
كما دعا أرفيند كيجريوال إلى حضور الاجتماعات الاحتجاجية التي تنظمها الجبهة الديمقراطية اليسارية في ولاية كيرالا ضد إساءة استخدام وكالات التحقيق المركزية، وضد محاولة تقويض جمهوريتنا الاتحادية.
